Application guidance

Read through the following guidelines to make sure that your application meets our criteria.

  • The SRC defines an 'independent recovery support group' as made up from people in recovery who have completed treatment or established their recovery by other means in the community and want to give something back. We are not able to fund a treatment organisation's service user involvement group.
  • We can only support applications for initiatives that support recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
  • We can only support applications from groups with a budget of less than £50,000.
  • We can only support applications from groups with a collective decision making process that is led by people in recovery from addiction.

    We are unable to support

    • Individual applications;
    • An application for ‘start up’ costs from a group that successfully received funding for this previously.
