First Minister Proclamation for Recovery 2017

The First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon has signed a proclamation in support of International Recovery Month 2017. In it she acknowledges the both the pain that addiction brings to Scotland’s people and the strength they bring to building recovery communities to alleviate that suffering. Download your copy here.
Recovery Month is being celebrated all over the world and in Scotland many communities are hosting a whole programme of events raising awareness of recovery from addiction and encouraging more people to get involved in their local recovery community. The SRC is delighted to support recovery month and has a full set of resources on the SRC website to do that. The month ends in Scotland with Recovery Walk Scotland 2017 in Dundee on Saturday 30th September.
